On being green

It struck me yesterday, that human beings must worship something. If they don't worship God they find a replacement. They have to. So some worship power or money or themselves, but others worship animals or the environment.

In the grand scheme of things, we are the children of God and the earth is our *room*. As children of God we have a duty to keep our room clean. We should care for the environment and animals properly and keep things in good order. We have an obligation to take care of what our Father gives us, but we have to maintain reason while we do so.

That being said, the "greenies" take the concept far beyond what is our bounden duty and make it a matter of worship. By doing so they lose all reason and place things above the worship of the King. God is the King. It is He who provides everything. It is He who has established the law and order of the universe. The "greenies" dictate what we may and may not do to the point of interfering with peoples and governments not their own. It's horrifying to see what these worshipers of false gods do to the people around them. They bully people and governments in the name of this false god of theirs and in some cases destroy they economy.

By all means, we should employ conservation and take due care of the world, but that in order to please Our Father, not from some demented idea that there actually is an entity called mother earth. I cringe every time that term is used. There's no "mother earth" any more than there's a Mother Goose. There's God, Our Father, who gave us this lovely home and we should take care of it to honor Him. We should show Him that we are appreciative of the gifts He's given us by keeping our room clean.

To elevate conservation and animals above the station God gave them is insanity and profane worship of a false God.

Just another opinion.
